Kung Fu Volley Ball / Soccer / Kickball / Hacky Sack VIDEO "Sepak Takraw"

Hot new sport? It's been around since the 80's. Why haven't I heard of this before. I WANT TO PLAY. What amazing fun and fitness. Such agility is required. It'd be an amazing workout.

Check it out:

It's called "Sepak" Malay for (kick) and a Thai word "Takraw" which roughly translates to "ball" and it's popular all over Asia.

Suggested Movie Marathons / Movie Marathon Ideas

Angelina Jolie at the premiere of Alexander in...Image via Wikipedia
Angelina Jolie
1. The Alien series

2. The Predator series

3. The original Star Trek series
(Season One, Ep.10 is my favorite... It was your Evil Twin, you dumb arse! There's two of you, DUH!... and the horned-dog - I WANT ONE! And the scratches move from the left side of the face to the right?) LOL.

It was actually more sophisticated than I expected for 1966. Lot's o fun to be had. The whole Evil Twin idea probably spawned a generation of Soap Opera copy-cats. In fact, right at this moment, Erica on All My Children has an Evil Twin, Jane. Another chuckle.

And Season 1, Ep. 8: A PENIS in his hands! Do they even know what they do?! And the phallic stalagmites, oh my. LOL

ANYWAY...
4. The original Twilight Zone series

5. Clint Eastwood movies

6. The Star Wars series (old and new)

7.  007 Movies: "Bond. James Bond."

8. The Outer Limits series

10. Matt Damon movies

11. Angelina Jolie movies

12. Adam Sandler movies

Octopus vs Shark! WHO WINS?! Real Live VIDEO

Real life! Octopus vs. Shark. Who wins?!

While watching the CREATURE FEATURE "Octopus", I wondered, 'Do octopus really have teeth? Turns out they do:
http://www.wonderquest.com/octopus-teeth-eyes.htm

The largest one found, on record, was over 600 lbs. with an arm-span (tentacle span?) of over 30 feet. Makes the movie a little more believable, huh. My search also turned up this awesome video clip (above).

The movie "Octopus" was actually better than I expected. Better than B. It might take itself a little too seriously at times (It could use a little more CREATURE and a little less FEATURE), but it does have a Denzel Washington look-a-like (Mr. Brickman) and a cute little marine biologist (as usual for this genre).

Is it just my imagination, or did she really start with a Russian accent and then switch to American? Anyway, if you like this genre, I think you'll enjoy. They saved the best for last... with the cruise liner. At least hang in for that. It's fun.

And don't miss the "octopus ballet" below.  It's really cool.

Movie Reviews: Nature's Grave (Horror, Suspense)

Cover of "Nature's Grave"Cover of Nature's Grave
The first thing I have to say about this flick is... OOHHH!!

But... I still Looooovvvvee Jim Caviezel. He's as sexy as ever, even as the...

A family goes camping on a remote Australian coastline. Doesn't sound fun to begin with and... it certainly wasn't fun to end with. I was expecting to see a few crocs but was actually surprised by the animal choices.

It's weird how I hung in there as long as I did (till the bitter end), as if I was straining to see a traffic accident or train wreck on the drive by. I knew exactly what was coming and yet I strained.

SHE just wasn't concerned enough about his glassy-eyed ravings. HE ended up being the good guy. That's really not giving it away. I promise.

Hmm. A really odd movie. I have to say that I liked it, though. Not exactly sure why. Maybe it was his loyalty to the dog... or a few laughable "nature strikes back" scenes. I don't know.

If you like being on the edge of your seat, annoyed by the knowing of what's coming next but still being thrilled by it. Well then... you'll like this movie.

And J.C., mmm. Even after all this, he's still on my Top 10 list. I wouldn't hesitate a bit. He's a DILF... a Dad I'd I'd love to...
