We just have to learn to step back and relax.
Sometimes we get so caught up in the TRYING, the EFFORT, the DESPERATION of WANTING, that we forget that those are hindrances to what we really want.
Think of it as DATING. If you call too much or are a "Door Mat" (over-giving), it's a turn-off. Life is like that too. You just can't WANT IT too much (whatever IT is).
Christians say... "Not my will but thine."
Hindus (Yogis) say... "Empty the mind of desire." (So does a good martial artist in the ring. If you think about the prize, you've already lost it!).
Buddhists say... "The middle way..."

Woke up a little depressed this morning and knew it was time for an Abraham fix. What is Abraham? My husband calls it silly. My counselor called it "Selective Attention: Choosing to Focus Only on the Positive". The equivalent Old School thought would be to Count One's Blessings. But, whatever IT is, all I know is that a little listen helps to make me feel a whole lot better. So here is...
