My Review? Well, actually it wasn't as horrifying as I thought it could be. It was disgusting, of course (lends new meaning to the expression 'Eat sh...t and die!'), but IMO it had a few (what I call) Inappropriate Action Scenes. SPOILER ALERT: For instance, when she finally made it to the bedroom and there was a phone by the door...WHY DIDN'T SHE CALL FOR HELP? And...when HE finally had the opportunity to kill the "good Doctor", why didn't he make sure he was dead? (a Pet-peeve of mine in horror films) And...(one more) if you suspect someone of foul play, you do NOT eat or drink anything they offer you. Other than that, I'd say it was one of the BEST MAD SCIENTIST movies I've ever seen. 5 Stars. Gimme more.

Netflix Description:
"After their car breaks down while in Germany, two American women wind up at a remote villa and soon find themselves trapped in a nightmare. Dr. Josef Heiter kidnaps them for his demented experiment to create a human "centipede"."
Netflix Reviews:
4 Stars:
"One star for originality, and three for the level of disturbing. This is the story of two American girls on a road trip through Europe. A flat tire brings them to the front door of Dr. Hieter. It is the beginning of hell. Words do not describe the level of disturbed this movie wraps its arms around and holds onto. Dieter Laser is extremely creepy as the good Dr who takes the two girls, adds a Japanese male and attempts to construct a human chain. Comparisons to Jigsaw and the Saw movies may be obvious because there are similarities. The 1st Saw was a breath of fresh air to the stagnant horror scene and this movie is an original although I won't say breath of fresh air because it is gruesome. There are flaws. The acting is not always the greatest, the cops actions are questionable, the story line does not provide for an hour and a half movie so the story drags at points and the low budget shows through. Any fan of horror or disturbing material (or both) should check this movie out however ANYone who does see this, be warned about the disturbing material here in."

3 Stars:
"Many people say that they hated this movie, and that they were horrified by how disgusting it was. My response to them: "Aren't horror movies supposed to horrify you?" This movie has been given negative reviews for simply achieving what it set out to do. People say that all it is is a disgusting movie with a lot of feces-eating. However, I can only recall one scene where that happens, and it is as non-graphic a scene as that could be. Ignore the complaints from people who say that it was revolting, because obviously they weren't in the right mindset going in. Were they honestly expecting a movie called "The Human Centipede" to be a pleasant viewing experience? So, if you're in the mood for a good scare and an experience you won't soon forget, I recommend that you sack up and give this movie a watch."

4 Stars:
"I have never written a review for a movie. But feel the need to after seeing this flick. I enjoy scary movies thoroughly, gory movies probably even more so. But i must say i did not enjoy this movie. You may wonder then why i gave it 4 stars. Well the simple fact is that this movie hit the head on the nail for what it was attempting to do. When i see gore now a days, I have to admit i often times smirk or even laugh at the scenario. There was absolutely no smirking during this film. Its been a long time since a movie made me cringe. I found myself hating the doctor and feeling downright sorry for the victims. Never before have i found myself being scared of a similar fate. This is beyond Texas chainsaw massacre, this isnt Saw, it gripped me like the first time i saw silence of the lambs. The acting in the beginning is horrible, but becomes better and believable once the girls are in the house (and they quit talking). Amazing suspense, Awesome antagonist. Emotionally gripping. I recommended this film only to push your sense of moral degradation and callousness toward humanity a little further than other modern media has already done. I hated this film, and LOVED it because of that. I'm going to go pray now."

1 Star:
"MOST DISGUSTING MOVIE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!! plus it sucked, sucked monkey balls! HORRIBLE"

4 Stars:
"My son who's 25 called this movie Torture Porn, and can't believe how anyone watches it. I consider myself to be a horror movie fanatic, and most horror movies leave me unshaken and wondering what happened to the good horror movies. Yes, this is the most hideous torture I have watched in a horror movie, and it had me sickened and looking away. He says there is no premise no story, Now in the same vein as The Hostel movies and if anyone has seen the other most disturbing movie called Martyrs, Then really I don't see a difference with this one. The form of torture is original, and I do think there is a plot. I am not a " fan" of this movie or the 2nd one, but if you want a movie that will shake the ground you stand on, then this would be the one. I don't like killer tomatoes, I don't want to see Tire's going on murderous rampages, like in the movie " Rubber" This went a little bit far in the concept. The rumor of the director was that he tricked his investors in the making of this movie showed different clips or concept so they were misled, and by the second movie he didn't need investors. But Just know going in that it's going to be unpleasant and you will turn away a lot. I would guess most that start this film will not finish it. So if you consider yourself a movie buff or a couch critic, and want a different experiment then go for it."
